We are happy to welcome the nomination DJ-ing in the sixth season of KARDO! This year we divided it into two categories: scratching and show.
Scratching — DJs battle one on one demonstrating their scratching skills.
Show — DJs show 6-minute shows in which they compete in the skill of turntablism.
Those wishing to take part in the nomination DJ-ING of the sixth season of KARDO will be able to compete in 4 presented competitions:
I: FESTIVAL (COMPETITION)
The best participants of KARDO [6] will go to the TOP 24, after which they perform a new individual task.
Participants included in the TOP 6 receive a turnkey package (meals, accommodation, travel) to the grand final of the sixth season.
The first place prize will be 30.000rub., for the second 15.000rub., for the third — 5.000rub. (relevant for both scratching and show).
Online selection criteria:
— Technique (usage of the instrument, virtuosity of performance)
— Musicality (musical literacy of constructing a performance, harmony of tonality)
— Cleanliness (evenness of mixing, evenness of execution of elements, control of the volume
level at the broadcast)
— Difficulty (the level of complexity of the elements and tricks that the Dj will use)
— Concept / idea / originality (use / non-use or borrowing (bytes) of other people's ideas and features, the presence of your own fresh idea of performance)
Divided to 2 categories: Scratching and Show. The video must be new, not previously used anywhere and must be shot no more than 1 year ago. Video should be shot without cutting or editing.
If you want to take part in 2 categories, you need to post 2 videos in one post on a social network, and then insert a link in the "Link to social network video with a hashtag" column, and upload 2 videos 2 videos to cloud drive.
