Today, our country celebrates the Day of the State Flag. By the way, this holiday is already 30 years old!  

The tricolour reflects our values – respect for our culture, history, and traditions, and love for our Motherland. The national symbol always gives strength to Russian athletes at international competitions and inspires them to win.  

The white-blue-red flag will certainly be flying against the mountanious background Stavropol, supporting the participants "KARDO" [7] throughout the whole Grand Final.  

Vyacheslav Korshun, Minister of Youth Policy of the Stavropol Territory, noted at a press conference that the Opening Ceremony takes place on a State holiday. "And, of course, this important holiday for our country will be reflected in the Opening Ceremony. The elements of the show are important, but still, I think the key event of the Grand Final is international communication… forming a correct, objective, and positive image of our country around the world," - he noted.
